the turn...
When you least expect it, life rushes in and changes the world you know and into a world filled with all the wonders imagined within. Wonders sometimes we have forgotten along the way. Garth Nielsen’s “The Turn,” tells of both magic and ordinary mixed together creating a sense of absolute wonder about the seamlessness of the events in life. Have you ever longed for a change in your life? Ever wondered the wonders of the great big cosmos? Life has a way of changing you, especially when you connect with the flow of how we are all connected in the most extraordinary of ordinary moments.

the past discovered
As a young child, a discovery of ancient artifacts connects Garth to his true blood, the blood of ancestors known and unknown. Ancestors we are all connected to. The past discovered would influence the creation of his present and future. It’s amazing to me how connected our present is with the past. Time shows its illusion when our present feels so presently connected to the past. Garth’s life unfolded in such perfect timing, each moment, each experience dotted with the connection of various cultures and stories that created lifelong friendships and rituals.
Each of one of us is connected with our past. We are creating our future with our present moment thoughts, and our past helped to create who we are now- the now person creating that future! Our vast differences across the globe are actually connected in their sameness. We are more alike than we are different, but it is the differences that make it all so interesting and alive. Do you feel alive? What future are you creating with your thoughts?
Reading Neilsen’s story in the Feb/March issue of Life Lessons Magazine will leave you with a life lesson that will encourage you to feel your own courageousness and heart. Courage to see the past and what it has to teach us; and heart to embrace the stories and cultures of many, loving how they play out in our own lives. We are the creators of our own lives and we are so amazingly supported by our ancestors, our family, our friends, this great BIG Universe! Do you dare to let life change you? Do you dare to step into your own birthright of power?
