FEBRUARY | 09:14Am

your brilliance

I want you to think about the SUN with me for a moment. Yes, the big, yellow ball of light in the sky. The Sun is the star at the center of the Solar System and is by far the most important source of energy for life on Earth. Ok, science lesson over. Now, I want you to see YOU as the Sun. What does that look like? What does that feel like? Who you are, exactly as you are, is exactly perfect. You aren’t becoming better or greater, you already are. This lesson can be the biggest life lesson we face; the wisdom to recognize our own brilliance, exactly as we are. Stephanie Correa has learned this life lesson and shares her experiences with Life Lessons Magazine in her feature “The Art of Distraction”.

Stephanie reveals to Life Lessons Magazine how she now embraces her authentically awkward, dorky, classy and beautiful Self. How did she do that? By living life from a space that wasn’t true to who she was. “Wait, how does that work?” you might be asking. Well, have you ever tried to live life as someone told you needed to live rather than living YOUR life in the element of who you are, who you were born as? It never ends up turning out very well. Embracing who you are authentically means you lovingly and gracefully embrace ALL of who you are. And when you create and live life from that Source within you, you discover that you are leading life as YOU. You get to just BE.

Stephanie Correa’s story playfully demonstrates that with a little bit of coaching from our inner voice we can gracefully share with the World our most awkward uniqueness. I smiled throughout her story because I understood that dorkiness aspect. If we are honest with ourselves, everyone has a little bit of the off-the-beaten-path idiosyncracies. It is usually this exact element that shines the brightest in who we are.

Since I began this blog with a science lesson, I’ll also end with one. Ya know, just because. A meteor is a broken off piece of an asteroid that creates the effect of a shooting star in the sky; a sorta there you see it and then you don’t. It’s fleeting. It doesn’t last. This is what happens when you live your life pretending to be someone you're not. You shine for a brief moment and then it’s gone. It can’t last...not like the Sun that shines on and on. So, are you the Sun in the center of YOUR Solar System, the center of your life, or are you crashing about throughout your life like a meteor split from someone else’s opinions?

Get ready for one amazing story by a rising reality star. Kyera speaks to Life Lessons Magazine about her amazing experience of letting  go of everything to achieve her hearts desires.
