Predators...
The power of using your own voice is truly an authentic power. But what if our voice isn’t heard? What if our voice is threatened and abused? What happens to our power then? Tygie shares the story of how his young teenage daughter was almost sold into underage sex trafficking; an innocent child whose voice was ignored, abused and nearly silenced for the pleasure of others.

BUSINESS/FINANCIAL
commentary by LoLo Adi Parashakti,
Senior Editor for Life Lessons Magazine

If you knew that another’s voice was being unheard, would you intervene? Would you speak for those that had no voice? All across the globe, young children are being exploited for sex. Their voice, their body, their soul is being violated in some of the most heinous ways. Young children sold as property. Young children made to endure horrors that they themselves don’t have the voice or strength to stop. We have the power as a global community to end it. Globally united we can create boundaries to protect those whose voices are being silenced.
These crimes don’t just happen somewhere else, in countries where you don’t live. No way. Don’t be fooled into thinking it doesn’t happen where you are. Tygie’s daughter was living in the United States, and her family loved her and never imagined it could happen in their town, in their family. Being naïve can longer be the excuse for ignorance. Be informed. Look at the subject that makes you uncomfortable. It won’t go away on its own.
Each of us has a voice. Each of us has a right to be heard. Speak loudly and speak boldly. And if you notice others whose voice can’t be heard, speak for them as well. United we are a force, divided we are cowards.
